To join you must complete an application form. Under law, your form must be accompanied by proof of identity with photograph (such as an up to date driving licence or passport) together with proof of address (such as a recently acquired ESB bill or telephone bill). Proof of your PPS number is also needed

If you have any difficulty in providing proof of ID, address and a PPS number the staff will try and help you with alternatives.

Once you become a member and you are over 16 years of age you can make a nomination.  This nominates a person to receive your savings and insurance benefits in the event of your death. It is one of the great attractions of credit union membership that the sum of money you leave behind can be paid to your nominee quickly (to a maximum of €23,000) without waiting for probate.
Any member of staff will be happy to complete an application form with you and to advise you on the services available.
