Enniscorthy Credit Union is controlled and directed by a voluntary Board of Directors. The Board is elected by the Members of the Credit Union at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in Enniscorthy every November.
The Board appoints a Manager and staff to run the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union.
Monthly Board meetings set policy, plan for the future development of the Credit Union and monitor the operations and finances.
The Board is comprised of thirteen members of different backgrounds and ages who share an enthusiasm for Credit Union and some skills that are of use to the Board and a willingness to spend a few hours every week to discharge their duties.
The current Chairperson of the Credit Union is Pat O'Shea. The Vice Chairperson is Gloria Ennis, the Secretary is Marie Cullen, and the Treasurer is Paddy Lennon.
The other Directors are: Sean Millar, Dick Walsh, Michael Doyle, Noel Byrne, Brendan Doyle, Robert Bennett, Brendan Brophy, Brian Hogan and Deirdre Doyle
At the Annual General Meeting, the Members also elect an independent Supervisory Committee whose role is to carry out checks to ensure that the Board is operating properly and that the interests of the members are protected. The current Supervisory Committee members are Tommy Tyrrell, Linda Cogan, John Moynihan, Lorraine Murphy and Eileen Murphy.
The Manager is Tony Ennis. The other staff members are Nancy Fenlon (Deputy Manager), Jennifer Cahill, Brenda O’Neill, Mairead Kearney, Michelle Connolly, Orla Doyle, Janet Doyle, Mark Daly, Teresa Dobbs, Elizabeth Butler, Sinead Browne, Madeleine Doran, Alice Culleton, Jeanette Murphy, Frank Hughes, Lena Rowe, Mary Ellen Turner, Brenda O’Keeffe, Mary Hennebry, Moira Martin, Edel Morrissey, Julie Wallace, Tanya Gregory, Barbara Cullen, Mary Anne Dempsey, Joe Fanning and Liam Waters.
