Finishing school soon – need some help with What’s Next!

Enniscorthy Credit Union along with Wexford Credit Union have joined forces to bring you a free Student Event this January.

The event will take place on Thursday January 23rd in The Ferrycarrig Hotel from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. 5th and 6th class students from schools in our Common Bond are invited.

We have lined up 4 great speakers and we will have a great prize of an iPhone 11 for one lucky student in attendance on the night as well as other prizes!

SPEAKERS

DARREN MALONE Vice President of the Union of Students in
Ireland (Southern Region 19/20) will be discussing accommodation
and avoiding scams.

Darren is a graduate of Social Care Practice from Waterford Institute of Technology. He took up
the role of Vice President for Welfare in 2018/2019. During his time as Welfare Officer, Darren
would have worked with hundreds of students on issues relating to accommodation, finances,
mental health, and equality issues to name a few. Darren is now the Vice President for the
Southern Region with the Union of Students in Ireland.

NIALL Ó’MUIRÍ – Mental Health Professional presenting on “Caring
for your well-being in college” and giving real life advice in his very
humorous way after his experiences putting 3 daughters through
college.

Niall Ó Muirí is a retired Mental Health Nurse. As a board member of Wexford Mental Health Association, he delivers Mental Health Awareness talks and Workshops to both secondary schools and Community groups in County Wexford.

ELLEN HOGAN internationally sought after Bio-Energy Specialist,
Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath, Plant Based Chef & Motivational
Speaker. She will be discussing a healthy approach to college life
with practical day to day ideas and cost effective recipes.

Ellen’s passion for integrative medicine began after she experienced a life threatening battle
with M.E herself. Her remarkable experience has brought her all over the world to study with
the best leaders in her field. Today, when not working one-on-one with her clients in her clinics
in Ireland and the UK, Ellen can been seen at conferences talking about health, advocating
change in the way we look at our bodies, our food, our lives, our health and our happiness.

LEONARD KELLY Career Guidance and Life Coaching will be
discussing career options and back up options.

Leonard has a Diploma in Adult Guidance Counselling from Maynooth University. He also has
a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as qualifications in Life Coach
and Training and is a registered Psychometric Tester.
