Marketing Officer (Full-Time)

Reporting to: Business Development & IT Liaison Officer 

At Enniscorthy Credit Union, we are more than just a financial institution—we are a community-focused team, dedicated to helping our members achieve their financial goals. We are looking for a Marketing Officer to join our team and help us spread awareness about our products and services. This will be a full time position based in our Enniscorthy Office.

Role Description: As the Marketing Officer, you are responsible for the growth of the Credit Union and spreading awareness about our services across multiple marketing communication channels, including advertising (print & digital), events and presentations, public relations, digital marketing (PPC), social media marketing and email marketing.
Your focus is to drive forward the digital marketing strategy and identify opportunities to innovate, in addition to attending events to represent the Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Co-ordinate marketing campaigns from concept to completion in line with the Marketing Calendar, across offline, digital, and social media platforms.

✔ To contribute towards the marketing plan; identifying areas of activity, membership targets, and retention activity that fits with the overall marketing strategy.

✔ To achieve the targets agreed in the strategy planning, ensuring the number of members and product/service take up is not only maintained but increased.

✔ Write and edit copy for digital display, search, social, and print advertisements and publications for Enniscorthy Credit Unions advertising and marketing campaigns  

✔ Assist with financial planning and budgetary requirements, as needed.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, they are the key responsibilities, as the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the Credit Union.

What we are looking for:

✅ A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent.

✅ Experience desired – proven marketing, social media, and digital marketing skills

✅ Member-first attitude – This role is member facing with events and presentations

✅ Great communication skills are necessary in both a written and verbal format

✅Strong attention to detail required for proofing copy

✅Creativity and commercial awareness 

✅Self-Motivated person – ability to effectively project manage, multi-task and prioritise work
