Runner-Up Prize – (Restaurant Experience): There are 24 dining experience packages available consisting of:

  • One dining experience to the value of €300 at a chosen restaurant within Ireland. Restaurants are subject to availability and a list to choose from will be provided based on the runner-up’s chosen location in Ireland.

General

  1. 1 (one) Main Prize winner (the winner of the New York Trip), 24 (twenty-four) Runner-Up Prize winners (the winners of the Restaurant Experience) and a reserve list will be drawn at random from all valid competition entries received.
  2. There is one pool for the Main Prize (all members from all Credit Unions that qualify for the Main Prize will be entered into this pool) and 24 pools for the Runner-Up Prizes (all members from each Credit Union that qualify for the Runner-Up Prizes will be entered into the relevant Credit Union pool).
  3. The winner’s Credit Union will be notified of the winner and the prize by the Promoter.
  4. If a winner wishes to opt out of this competition at any time, please email the Promotor at info@cusop.ie.

Terms and Conditions for Main Prize Winner (New York Trip)

  1. In order to be eligible for this competition you must both:
    • a. Open a MYCU Current Account and MYCU Debit Mastercard at your local Credit Union between 01/10/2022 and 31/12/2022; and
    • b. Complete at least one (1) transaction using your MYCU Debit Mastercard between 01/10/2022 and 31/12/2022.
  2. The winner consents to their personal data being used and shared for the purpose of this competition.
  3. The Promoter will use your personal data to select and confirm the competition winners and will share the winner’s personal data to their Credit Union and applicable third parties for the fulfilment of the applicable prize. Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
  4. All credit union officials and any staff members of agencies connected to this competition, i.e. CUSOP, Mastercard, Big Group, HAVAS Media are ineligible to participate in this competition.
  5. If you meet the competition eligibility criteria, you are automatically entered into the competition.
  6. The Runner-Up Prize draw will take place during the week commencing 9 January 2023 with the winner informed by 27 January 2023.
  7. The winner will be notified by their Credit Union that they have won the Runner-Up Prize by telephone and/or in writing, by email.
  8. The Promoter deems the notification to be received one business day after communicating the Prize winner to the Credit Union.
  9. The Runner-Up winner will have 5 business days following receipt of the winning notification to accept the Runner-Up Prize.
  10. Acceptance of the Runner-Up Prize must be provided by the Runner-Up Prize winners in writing. If the Runner-Up Prize winner does not accept the Runner-Up Prize or fails to respond within the communicated timeframe the Runner-Up Prize will then be offered to entrants in the order they were drawn (and, if accepting the Runner-Up Prize, they will be the Runner-Up Prize winner for the purpose of the remaining Terms and Conditions).
  11. By accepting the Runner-Up Prize, the Runner-Up agrees to their personal data being shared by the Promoter with their Credit Union, Mastercard, Mastercard’s fulfilment agency Big Group Limited for the purposes of fulfilment of the Runner-Up Prize.
  12. If a Runner-Up Prize winner indicates they do not wish to accept the Runner-Up Prize within the stated period, the remaining Runner-Up Prize will be awarded to entrants remaining on the reserve list, in the order they were drawn, who will be notified by their Credit Union.
  13. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to declare the draw void if it considers it unreasonable that the draw should proceed, whether due to an administrative error or otherwise.
  15. The winner of the Runner-Up Prize must be aged 18 or over, however guests can be of any age.
  16. Runner-Up Prizes are valid until 31 December 2023. Runner-Up Prizes may not be redeemed over Christmas, Easter, and all Irish Bank Holidays
  17. The Runner-Up Prize package is personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the Runner-Up Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel and withdraw or make void the Runner-Up Prize if this term is not complied with.
  18. Details on how to book will be communicated to the Runner-Up once the prize has been accepted.
  19. Compliance with all COVID-19 requirements, including any tests for COVID-19 and abiding by the rules in force for the destination is the responsibility of the winner. The Promotor is not responsible for any costs incurred for compliance with or failure to comply with any COVID-19 requirements.
  20. The Runner-Up Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the Runner-Up Prize.
  21. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion dispose of the Prize without liability to the Runner-Up.
