We are delighted to announce a change to our Current Account and Debit Card Fees and Charges (F&Cs) in relation to Student Accounts.

The eligibility criteria for Concession Banking on our Student Current Account now has no upper age limit, it is not based on age and is now open to any full-time student who meets our criteria for a student account.

A student must be engaged in full-time education, for a minimum duration of one academic year in a Post Leaving Certificate college or Higher Education Institution to qualify and will continue to get concessions while they are a full-time student.  Proof of enrolment or satisfactory evidence that you are attending third level education on a full-time basis with a minimum duration of one academic year will be required.

This change and will be updated in our Fees & Charges document and will take effect from October 1st.

Please note that, where applicable, Concession Banking applies to the waiving of Account Services and Transaction Charges only. Concession Banking does not apply to Currency Conversion Fees’, Overdraft Facility Fees, Government Stamp Duty, or Interest Charges.
